Icotto Go Bento, Taman United
Icotto Go Bento is a Japanese donburi shop in Taman United, off Old Klang Road, packing rice bowls from RM13.80 into bento-style boxes sealed under a bamboo lid, with no pork and no lard.
Each bowl is built in layers: short-grain Japanese rice steamed in mineral water rather than tap water, sautéed broccoli, okra, baby corn and carrot, then the meat or fish, finished with yakitori sauce and furikake. Most bowls come with a soft dashi egg; the katsu and beef brisket bowls get tamago toji instead, and the karaage comes with wasabi aioli.
